“Gift of Life” care packets which include free at-home HIV testing kits, condoms, lubricant, dental dam, informational pamphlets and other safety enhancing items are distributed to high risk communities, including the sex worker population.
"In the Know" HIV/AIDS Testing Initiative
This "In the Know" outreach effort aims to slow the transmission of HIV/AIDS in underserved communities. The goal is to get 1000 individuals in the underserved communites of the Central Carolinas tested by December 31, 2023, to help identify people living with HIV/AIDS that are not in care, and connect them with treatment and support services, and to navigate those that are HIV- to TasP (Treatment as Prevention) resources, such as PrEP.

FISHH
Financially Insecure Suffering from HIV and Homelessness
Food and housing insecurity impose unfortunate barriers to the treatment and prevention of HIV/AIDS, within vulnerable communities. The burden of scavaging for food and housing, from day to day, prohibits one's ability to prioritize his/her health. The goal of FISHH is to provide relief to the homeless population by removing the nutrition barrier. To do so, we will be providing 500 Sunday dinners to homeless (unhoused) people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA), and those most vulnerable to acquiring HIV, within the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) community. Beginning on August 27,2023 hot meals will be served to our unhoused community of PLWHA, and those are risk. We aim to improve the health outcomes of the population, by increasing medication adherence and providing prevention opportunities to those at risk. The project will run until December 31st, 2023.
