~Ending the HIV Epidemic by Connecting People and Resources~

STIGMAAside is a local 501c3 non-profit who works to remove the barriers to treatment and prevention services available for HIV/AIDS. These are caused by social determinants such as stigma, lack of access to medical care, housing, lack of transportation, and nutrition in underserved communities.
As CHWs (Community Health Workers), we offer services such as linkage to medical care for PLWHA (People Living with HIV/AIDS), PrEP education and navigation for vulnerable populations, connection to housing and nutrition services, and all other services needed to complete the continuum of care, as it relates to HIV/AIDS.
Their promise is to deliver these services with integrity by implementing DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) measures to ensure services and resources are available to all, including BIPOC, LGBTQ, sex workers, substance dependent, cisgender black women, and our youth.
MISSION
To decrease the spread of the HIV/AIDS virus in BIPOC (Black Indigenous People of Color) communities by removing the stigma and shame associated with virus through advocacy and education.
VISION
A world where people living with HIV/AIDS can live out loud because it doesn’t equal shame.
CULTURE
At STIGMAAside, we take RESPONSIBILITY for the EMPOWERMENT of the HIV/AIDS COMMUNITY, by treating everyone with RESPECT. Our INTEGRITY, paired with DEDICATION to creating a TRUSTWORTHY and HONEST haven, will continue to nurture an INSPIRATIONAL movement toward ACCEPTANCE, GROWTH and CHANGE.
